[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Lü Interactive Playground turns ordinary gymnasiums into active learning spaces, encouraging students of all ages to get active while reinforcing other academic skills. With Lü, schools can improve student engagement and collaboration during physical education, so no student is left out during class.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), only 20 percent of children between six and 18 engage in 60 minutes or more of physical activity every day. Physical education classes, when delivered effectively, can take on this problem and help students get their recommended hour of activity, reducing obesity rates and promoting wellness. The Lü Interactive Gym, with its compelling games, activities, lighting and audio, provides physical education teachers with the tools they need to get everyone moving.

What does the Lü Interactive Playground come with?
The Lü Interactive Playground is available in three models and all three operate using a professional-grade, WXGA projector, a 3D camera, a computer, lighting, speakers and a remote control to operate the Lü Interactive Playground.
With the high resolution projector, Lü can project an interactive image on a wall that’s up to 20 feet long and 11 feet high. The 3D camera can detect multiple objects contacting the wall at once, which is used to full effect with Lü applications. Lighting and audio also come with the Lü Interactive Gym, and they can be customized to create different effects during a session. For example, if a student hits the right target, lighting inside the gym can change color or flash to indicate success.
The Lü Interactive Playground comes with speakers, which is ideal for schools in need of an audio upgrade. If desired, however, existing speakers can be used with Lü.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=".vc_custom_1602533154252{margin-bottom: 10px !important;}"]

Uno
The Uno projects a single interactive display, so it’s ideal for smaller groups. It comes with everything needed to operate the Lü, including all equipment needed to hang and install the system. It also comes with a pair of computerized lights for custom effects, a pair of 1000W speakers and six static lights for additional illumination.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=".vc_custom_1602533184374{margin-bottom: 10px !important;}"]
Duo
The Duo provides the ultimate Lü Interactive Gym experience, with two projectors, two 3D cameras, double the lighting and double the speakers. An additional remote control is also included to operate both systems simultaneously.
The Duo is perfect for large classes and to unlock additional functionality with the Lü. That’s because the Duo comes with additional applications, including team-based games that make for more intense competition or cooperation.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
Mobile
The Mobile consists of five modules, including a main module for the projector and camera, two light brackets and two speakers. The Mobile delivers the Lü Interactive experience in a package that can be transported and set up easily. From start to finish, the Lü Mobile can be ready to go in just 20 minutes.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
What can the Lü Interactive Playgound do?
Lü’s hardware provides interactivity, but it’s the applications that encourage activity. Part of the Lü Interactive Playground package is its ecosystem, which is constantly introducing new applications, on top of the 30 or so that are already available with the Lü. These applications combine physical and academic exercises, so students reinforce additional curriculum while working up a sweat.
Some of the Lü’s applications include:[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][vc_column_text]
Dojo
An ideal warmup application, Dojo cycles through a set of “cards” that each include a physical activity. As new cards are drawn, students must perform the action on the card, such as doing push ups or jumping.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][vc_column_text]
Danza
Danza encourages students to mimic the movements of an on-screen guide, turning aerobic fitness into a fun dance.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][vc_column_text]
Target
Target is a simple, highly customizable application that flashes targets on screen. Students must respond by hitting the target with a ball, triggering lighting and sound effects to keep the game moving along.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][vc_column_text]
Newton
Newton is math-based application that requires students to do some quick mental calculations before throwing the ball at the right answer. Several choices are given, and students can relay one after another to answer math problems as quickly as possible.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][vc_column_text]
Puzz
During Puzz, students are given a puzzle to complete and lock pieces together by hitting them with a ball and rotating them on screen. Puzzle images include world-famous monuments and natural wonders.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][vc_column_text]
Mineword
Mineword tasks students with spelling a word by hitting letters with a ball. The word is accompanied with an image, so students can quickly determine what letters they need.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][vc_column_text]
Galactic
During Galactic, retro-inspired asteroids must be shot down before they get too close, using a ball to do so. Galactic can be run with teams, encouraging students to work together to keep the asteroids away as long as possible.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][vc_column_text]
Phys
Phys consists of physics puzzles that are solved by hitting the right object with a ball and helping Mozzart the mouse get to his cheese. Careful planning and aim are required, so students are encouraged to work in groups.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][vc_column_text]
Zoo
Zoo is perfect for younger students, as it’s an open-ended application with simple mechanics. When a student hits the screen with a ball, Zoo responds by displaying a cute animal where the ball struck. If the animal is hit again before it disappears, it grows larger and creates visual effects that young children will delight in.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]There are many more applications in addition to the above, including basic functions like a scoreboard or timer to supplement other activities.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
What are the benefits of the Lü Interactive Playground?
The Lü Interactive Playground helps schools make the most of physical education classes, but the benefits aren’t confined to the gymnasium. Here’s what the Lü can do for your students:[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/2"][vc_column_text]
Make fitness more inclusive
Research in Texas schools shows that traditional physical education is ineffective at engaging all students. Traditional physical education is often skill-based and includes competitive activities that rely on pure athleticism. This leaves a lot of students out of the picture, but the Lü Interactive Playground brings them back in, with cooperative, gamified lessons that require a range of skills. Everyone has a chance to shine.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/2"][vc_column_text]
Encourage more intense physical activity
All of Lü’s applications are either gamified or accompanied with fun audiovisual effects. This helps students focus on the activity instead of how hard they are working, which means they work harder without realizing it. In fact, they have fun doing it.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/2"][vc_column_text]
Improve performance in other academic areas
Emerging research shows that students learn better during and after physical activity. Movement encourages oxygen and glucose to flow to the brain, preparing the brain to learn more effectively. Every teacher is familiar with the student that can’t seem to sit still in class. The Lü Interactive Playground was designed to help those students get the kinesthetic feedback they need to learn effectively. The addition of audiovisual content helps reinforce learning further.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/2"][vc_column_text]
Get children excited for gym class
Children spend hours at their desks, and this can take a toll on students that just want to get up and move around. With Lü installed in your school’s gym, students have something to look forward to before gym, and something to feel good about after gym. That mental boost may be difficult to quantify, but improving students’ well-being is a worthy goal for educators.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]The Lü Interactive Playground can do all of this in a package that’s easy to install, configure and operate, especially if you have an AV integrator to oversee system placement.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
Who can help install and configure the Lü Interactive Playground?
Your
AV integrator partner can help select, position, install and configure the Lü Interactive Playground, ensuring it is ready for operation when classes start. Further, an AV integrator can train your physical education department on the Lü, so the technology doesn’t get in the way.
The Lü Interactive Playground uses proven
interactive display technology and a proven pedagogical approach to transform physical education classes. With Lü, every student is encouraged to get fit, in an environment that’s fun and inviting for all.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
